Getting started
What do I need to use Attune?
An iPhone running iOS 17 or later. To link with a partner, you'll both need Attune and to be signed in to iCloud (Settings › your name, with iCloud Drive turned on).
Can I use Attune on my own?
Yes. Every feature works solo. Linking adds shared goals, the side-by-side weekly pulse, pause notifications, and shared check-ins.
Linking with your partner
How do we link?
One of you opens the You tab › Partner link › Create invite link, then sends it or shows the QR code. The other taps the link (or scans the code with the Camera app) on their iPhone with Attune installed.
The invite link opened a web page instead of Attune.
Make sure Attune is installed, then tap the link again. If it still opens in a browser, copy the link, open Attune › You › Partner link, and paste it under "Got a link?"
It says I'm not signed in to iCloud.
Open Settings, sign in with your Apple ID, turn on iCloud Drive, then return to Attune.
My partner's updates aren't showing up.
Pull down on the Today tab to refresh. Updates normally arrive within a minute while the app is open. Check that both phones are online and signed in to iCloud, and that Low Data Mode isn't blocking iCloud.
How do we unlink?
You › Partner link › Unlink. If you created the invite, unlinking deletes the shared space for both of you. If you joined, it just removes you. Private journal entries always stay on your own phone.
Subscriptions and billing
Do we both need to subscribe?
No. One active subscription covers both of you once you're linked.
How do I cancel?
Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Attune › Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How does the free trial work?
If offered, the trial is free for its full length, then converts to the annual plan unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I got a new phone or reinstalled — how do I get my subscription back?
Tap "Restore purchases" on the subscription screen or in the You tab, signed in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with.
Your data and privacy
Can Nest Studios see my journal or check-ins?
No. Journal entries and check-in notes never leave your phone, and shared items live in your own iCloud, which we can't access. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete everything?
You tab › Delete all my data. This can't be undone.
Will my data come back if I reinstall?
Shared items sync back from iCloud once you open Attune signed in to the same iCloud account. Private journal entries are stored only on the device and are removed when you delete the app.
Features
How does the reframe coach work?
On iPhones with Apple Intelligence turned on, it rewrites your message using Apple's on-device model. Nothing is sent to us. On other iPhones it offers a simple template to start from.
I'm not getting reminders.
Check Settings › Notifications › Attune and make sure notifications are allowed, then turn on the daily reminder in the You tab.
