Who we are
Attune is made by Nest Studios LLC, a Michigan limited liability company ("Nest Studios," "we," "us"). This policy explains how the Attune app for iPhone handles information. Questions about this policy: contact@neststudios.app.
The short version
Attune has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. We (Nest Studios) can't see anything you write or log in the app. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
What stays only on your device
Your journal entries, the notes you add to check-ins, what you write during a pause, your repair checklist, and your milestones. These are stored in the app's private storage on your iPhone, protected by iOS data protection, and are never uploaded anywhere.
What's shared with your partner
Only once you link, and only these: your first name; check-ins you choose to share (mood and connection level — never the note); the time you paused and when you plan to return, if you choose to let them know; goals you both take on and when they're marked done; your weekly pulse answers; shared signals; and reflections you send. This is stored in iCloud using Apple's CloudKit, in a space that belongs to your two iCloud accounts. Apple provides the storage under its own privacy policy (apple.com/legal/privacy); Nest Studios has no access to it.
Subscriptions
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple ID, or payment details. Whether your subscription is active is shared with your linked partner so one subscription can unlock Attune for both of you.
Reflection coach
On devices with Apple Intelligence, the reframe coach runs on your iPhone using Apple's on-device model. What you type is not sent to us or to any third party. On other devices it uses simple built-in templates, also entirely on your device.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Partner activity notifications are generated on your device after it syncs with iCloud. We don't operate a notification server.
Information we don't collect
We don't collect analytics, crash reports tied to you, advertising identifiers, location, contacts, photos, health data, or device identifiers. Attune contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. If you choose to share diagnostics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may provide us anonymized crash reports that don't identify you.
If you email us
If you contact us at contact@neststudios.app, we'll receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to respond to you, and we delete support emails when they're no longer needed.
Deleting your data
In the You tab, choose "Delete all my data." This erases everything on this device. If you invited your partner, it also deletes your shared iCloud space for both of you; if you joined their invite, it removes you from it. Deleting the app also removes on-device data. You can manage iCloud data any time in the Settings app under your Apple ID › iCloud. Deleting data does not cancel a subscription — manage that in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
Your rights
Because we don't collect or store your personal information on any server, there's nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our side — you control all of it on your device and in your iCloud account. If you live somewhere with privacy rights like the EU/UK GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA, you can still contact us and we'll help. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and we don't use it for targeted advertising or profiling.
Security
On-device data is protected by iOS data protection and your device passcode. Shared data is stored in iCloud and protected by Apple's security, including encryption in transit and at rest. No method of storage is perfectly secure, so please keep your iPhone protected with a passcode.
Children and teens
Attune is for people 13 and older. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you're under 18, please use Attune with a parent or guardian's permission.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and post the new version here. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking, and doesn't load third-party scripts. Like any website, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running; we don't use it to identify you. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply.
